Most people suffer from sweets and candy withdrawal, especially around the holidays where candy is laying around the house (Halloween and Easter), so instead of caving into those sweet temptations, why not make a healthy alternative so you can curb those cravings, but also move closer to your health and fitness goals?!
Stop giving in so easily and work your way around so after you stay strong, you feel good, healthier, stronger, and successful!!
Im going to give you my 2 FAVORITE ways to replace those sweet tooth cravings for healthy alternatives!!
Shakeology Balls– These Bad boys are pretty amazing and sooooo easy to make!!! 2 Balls will satisfy you!! This is not only going to help your cravings, but also give you tons of dense nutrients and superfoods!! Literally you can have sweets and fuel your body at the same time?!?! HECK YES!!!!!
Rice Cake Treats– Im not sure what to call them so I’ll stick with this!! Seriously, so easy and so fulfilling!!! You make them ANY way you want.. whatever toppings you want to help whatever craving you have!! Here are a few different ways I make them:
1 layer of natural Peanut Butter
1 Layer of sugar free-fat free cool whip
Sprinkle unsweetened shredded coconut
1 layer natural Peanut butter
1 layer sugar free fat free cool whip
sprinkle sliced cocoa almonds
1 layer natural Peanut butter
1 layer sugar free fat free cool whip
sprinkle soy free, nuts free, dairy free chocolate chips (found in organic section of local grocery store)
If you are feeling like you are feeling those temptations coming, have something prepared so you do not fall off track!! Have extra water with you too!! Many times its not hunger cravings, its boredom or dehydration!!!

This journey has been quite incredible for not only myself, but my team as well! We started at the bottom.. brand new coaches with a home to take care of, another job to go to for our primary income. Now, we are retired, working part-time, or soon get to announce becoming a work-from-home mommy because of the hard work we put into fitness coaching with Beachbody!
We have a passion to be the best version of ourselves, to live a healthy and fulfilling life, to help others live the same lifestyle, but also to help create a life of freedom for ourselves and families!
Last week, myself and some of my top coaches were able to attend our 2016 Success Club Trip with Beachbody and we went on a Caribbean Cruise to Jamaica and Bahamas! We were able to bring our families if we wanted, so our work trip was more like a business/family vacation all in one! We had some training, but more time for ourselves and families!
Arriving at the port for the cruise was so surreal!! Having my family with me and having the freedom to do as we please and have no worries was exactly what we all needed!!
When we got in our suite, I had a nice little gift waiting for me!! A towel with our logo, a bag for the beach and pool, and an awesome beach body bottle! As Elite coaches, our company truly recognizes our hard work and delivers the BEST gifts to say thank you!!
Pool time!!! Of course, most of my time was spent at the kiddy pool with my kids!! Although they really enjoyed the kids place with tons of games and activities, we also had our time swimming and splashing!! Yup, you best believe I was waking their butts up early lol!

Top 10 Elite Panel
Even during our Top 10 Elite Panel where we hear from the top 10 coaches of the organization, I had my son with me since he was miserable and having an allergic reaction. Mommy was still able to cuddle and comfort him! That is WHY I do what I do! FREEDOM and BEING WITH MY BOYS! This fitness career allows me to do it all!
Every morning, we kicked butt in our workouts with all the celebrity trainers! Gathered around the pools and decks, it was so motivation to do this as one large team!
Elite night was our first night of the cruise! All the top coaches in the organization got together to hang out, along with corporate and the trainers of the fitness programs such as Tony Horton from P90X and our newest program 22 Minute Hard Corps, Autumn Calabrese of the 21 Day Fix and Fix Extreme, and Joel and Jeriko from Les Mills Combat! I was able to bring a date with me, so I took one of my top coaches who is pretty darn amazing Sarah Griffith! Loved spending QT!!
TEAM DINNER—> I was so happy to be able to get our team together!! I know everyone has families and husbands with them, so everyone was kind of doing their own thing, but it was great that they all took time to come together!!
I won’t say I ate totally clean, but I will say the food was pretty amazing for the most part!! 6 course meals, lots of lean protein, veggies, and yea, we’ll just go ahead and say the desert was pretty satisfying too!!

Excursion time!!! Ok this was suppose to be a dolphin swim… but that unfortunately lasted about 5 minutes. In the mean time, we did have some fun with birds and Iguanas!!! The joy these boys had melts my heart!!
Don’t worry… mommy got her time too!! I brought my mom and aunt not only to spend quality time together, but to help my babysit too at night!! 🙂 Lots of karaoke, laughs, and memories with amazing friends!!
#BOYMOM straight up!!
It was so awesome for us to be able to just spend 1:1 time together, have dinner, go play on the ferris wheel, and watch these boys smile and be so excited!! It’s the little things that go a long way! They were so happy and fulfilled during this trip!
As you can see from these pictures, we had a pretty amazing time together!! This path I choose to retire from nursing to become a stay at home/work from home mom was all worth it! I won’t say it was easy.. this is NOT a get rich quick scheme, but I will say it has given myself and boys the life I always wanted, but never thought I could have!
I am stepping out of my comfort zone, making small sacrifices, but taking leaps and bounds with freedom and success! If you want something you never had, you must be willing to do what others aren’t willing to! I wake up a little early, go to bed sometimes a little later, I live a healthy lifestyle and lead by example, I help others daily, and share my journey!

You may or may not be dreading summer as you know its time to get out the short shorts, crop tops, bikinis, or you just always wanted to be able to wear one, but never had the confidence to. Well… I will say its NEVER too late to start moving towards those goals to feel good, sexy, and confident not only in your clothes, but in your own body in general!
So many suffer from depression because they HATE the way they look and feel.. Some due to medical problems we cannot control, but what about the things we CAN control? Why not start TODAY moving towards our goals to feel like that person you never thought you could feel like?? To have that confidence you never thought you could have? To wear those clothes you never thought you could??
It’s time to star making better choices every day to help you get closer to that happy place in your life!
How to get to your happy place physically, emotionally, spiritually:
Get in a workout at least 4 days a week- Wether its 20-30 minutes long, believe it or not, that 20-30 minute workout will make a huge difference in your long term success and make you feel amazing, gain more energy, and be less tired! Eat 5-6 Healthy meals a day- Yes, you eat healthy, you fuel your body right, you will feel good, have more energy, and feel good about the success you have of being healthy!! Seriously, it just makes us happier people when we are healthier!
Journal- Yes, get a journal and write in it regularly! This is going to allow you to get your feelings and emotions out, maybe time for you and Jesus, or to track your daily activity with nutrition and exercise! It may sound silly, but coming from my own experience, it has made a huge difference in my success in all areas of my life! Don’t knock it til ya try it!
Positive talk to self- Seriously, how many times do we talk down to ourselves, doubt ourselves of what we are capable of, talk ourselves out of things we want in life? Instead of tearing yourself down, build yourself up!! Every morning, go to your mirror, and talk to yourself in a positive way! Tell yourself you are beautiful, you are smart, you will win the day, you are worth it, tell yourself what you WILL accomplish! Then at the end of the day, go over the things you did accomplish or any small successes you can celebrate to keep that positive mindset going!
Improve your FAITH- You may not be a believer, but for those who are (or aren’t), its never too late to build a relationship with the Lord! I didn’t start until about 2 years ago, and these last 2 years of having faith, belief, and support from God has been the best 2 years of my life! Despite my struggles and obstacles (battling through a divorce, moving and purchasing my house on my own, just to name a few lol), I would not be where I am today holding my head up if it weren’t for giving my problems to God and allowing Him to help me through my struggles in life.. and it helps so much that I had amazing friends who are believers to help me through and support me and encouraging me through my struggles!
READ or LISTEN to Personal Development/Growth- Call me crazy for being so positive, but again, this has impacted my life more than anything! People are so quick to waste time on a TV show, nap sessions, phone calls that do not impact your life in any way, shape, or form… in fact, majority is about gossip– Yea, sad but true! Instead, why not use your time you do have wisely to put positive words into your mind! Things that will help you in life.. cuz you all know we need help! lol I read and listen to books and audios about confidence, leadership, how to become more successful, improving my faith, improving communication skills, relationships, and how to live a life of happiness and freedom! Cant EVERYONE really benefit from this?!?! UMMM heck ya! Just to name a few of my favorites: Daren Hardy’s “Compound Effect”, Chalene Johnson’s Podcast “Build your Tribe” and “The Chalene Show”, Joel Osteens Podcast– You pick the sermon, they are ALL amazing and will help you in every aspect of your life!
Find friends with same common interests and hobbies- I have lost friends along the way of my healthy lifestyle and fitness business.. Yea it sucks, BUT those “friends” I did have weren’t true friends or they would have supported what makes me happy! They mocked my healthy lifestyle and then went on with their own drama and unhealthy lifestyle. Thats completely fine and I would never try and change that.. but what I did find, was when I surrounded myself with people who loved what I did, were positive people, people who lift me up and the ones who have impacted my life the most! I want more of that!! If you feel you can’t find them, your not looking hard enough!! I promise they are out there!! Look in Facebook groups, Instagram, seriously, use social media in a good way!! One way is finding awesome friendships with people of similar interests and passion!
Yea I know only the first 2 Tips have ANYTHING to do with your bikini body, but… if you can put ALL these together, seriously, you will LOVE the way you look, think, and feel!! Its not all just about the physical appearance!! You can be as healthy as can be, but lack self confidence, motivation, support, etc.. you have to go beyond what your doing now to find the happiness for everything else.. and when you do find that happiness, you’ll realize the grass can be greener on the other side!
