Here’s the deal:
➡️I haven’t shared my actual before pics until AFTER my results came… and lately, I haven’t had results because I don’t keep my own self accountable enough….
➡️We BOTH have struggled because we let excuses get in the way:
Moving, getting married, pregnant and restricted workouts, etc…
👉🏽If we are going to really do this the right way and the hard way, we need to share the day 1 all the way to the day 30 or 60, etc.. and showing the world before pictures is a great accountability for us!
👉🏽The excuses haven’t helped us get the results we want… it simply prolongs our success… so pregnant, married, moved in, still busy, blah blah blah… let’s friggin kick some booty and do this!!
So yup… here it goes!!
I’m giving you my stats since I started my JANUARY NEW YEAR FITNESS GOALS and where I stand today:
👉🏽weight in Jan- 146
👉🏽weight today- 150 … and yes I’m 12 weeks pregnant but I still had some fat to lose!
I’m up 3 inches with my measurements from Jan… mostly around my belly though 😜 which I’m ok with!!
But my point is to do this as a TEAM and also have a healthy pregnancy where I’m not gaining 60 unhealthy lbs again!!

Nutrition is all about protein control and making healthy choices!! When your pregnant, you only need 200 extra calories a day.. YOU ARE NOT EATING FOR 2!!! A fetus is NOT another person lol!!! Let’s stay focused and on track and know what is actual hunger and what is emotions and boredom!
So for me, when I’m craving my sweet and chocolate, my to-go is my Shakeology balls…. getting my nutrition but staying on track!!

Hey everyone, happy Monday!!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready to get back to the grind!!
If you haven’t followed my journey yet, I’ll give you a little background!! I have 2 boys ages 6 and 4, and 3 bonus kids ages 9, 7, and 4…. and my husband and I are expecting our first baby TOGETHER to add to our blended family of 8! We are so thrilled that God has blessed us and our story has been quite a story!!
My husband and I met not too long ago… back in August of this past year, got engaged just 4 months later, and got married in Feb (just 6 months later of meeting)… and 1 month after marriage, Brent was able to move to PA with me and then it happened… expecting baby #6! Although many think its fast (which we won’t deny it is), we would not have it any other way!! We are completely content with our choices, our relationship, and our lives!
So now we are so excited to share our pregnancy together over the next 8 months! Currently, we are 9 weeks pregnant and will be 10 weeks on Thursday! Due date is Dec 21st, although I went 2 weeks early with both of my boys, so that may just happen again!
My goal for this pregnancy is to be as healthy as possible! I gained 60 lbs with both my boys and I do not want that to happen again! So, my health is my priority so I am healthy for the baby, and feel good as well… The healthier and active you are, usually the better the pregnancy and delivery!
I made a meal plan for this week and I have a workout plan and I’m ready to go! Now with my workouts, I am taking it easy because I have a sub-chorionic bleed, so I am restricted from heavy lifting, jumping, etc.. But I love my yoga, so that will be incorporated, along with jogging, and light weights!!
So here is my meal plan for the week! Keeping this week lower on carbs, higher with protein and fats. My body has done really well with this and I know gluten makes me feel bloated so if I can stay away a little, I am good! You will see in my meal plan, I AM using Shakeology, which is our superfood shake that is full of dense nutrition… This is something that has helped me so much with my nutrition and has helped with my cravings, bloating, digestion, and energy and I have been continuing to use it daily since finding out I was expecting and plan to use it my entire pregnancy! It is recommended if you question it, that you talk to your OB/GYN, but mine actually use it and are happy with the ingredients and I just need a folic acid in addition to my Shakeology and that takes care of my pre natal vitamin! When people ask me if its safe, I usually respond with: If you are willing to put fast food in your mouth, soda, or other chemicals in many foods, Im thinking a healthy superfood shake won’t hurt!!
My water intake will be a gallon a day… well thats my goal and I’ve been doing pretty good with it when I add lemon and fresh berries to spice things up!! lol
For my workouts, PiYO will be my program! I love my yoga, so this is a yoga/pilates type workout that will help me with my strength and flexibility! I was in Beachbody’s test group when it first came out and had great results!

Wednesday- Define Upper Body
Saturday- Define Lower Body
Sunday- Define Upper Body

I can’t lie and say I made this up all on my own!! I did get this recipe from the FIXATE cookbook by Autumn Calabrese and made it into my own! One ingredient in this recipe has saved me from spending so much time prepping! Rotisserie chicken!! I know it is easy to bake your own chicken, but it is one less thing to worry about! Just be sure you are removing the skin because even though it tastes good, it’s not healthy! Sorry for the let down!
Ok, so let’s get to it!!
Easy Chicken Noodle Soup
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 chopped onion
2 cups sliced celery (about 4 stalks)
4 cups low sodium organic chicken broth
3 cups chopped rotisserie chicken breasts, without skin and bones of course
1 1/2 cups sliced carrots
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp Himalayan or sea salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 1/4 dry whole wheat pasta (penne, rotini, etc… I used a gluten free pasta from Aldi and worked perfect)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat.
Add onion and celery, and cook, stirring frequently for 5 min, or until onion is translucent.
Add broth, chicken, carrots, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add pasta, reduce heat to low and gently boil for 10 minutes.
Oh boy!!! If you have been following me, I started prepping for a Figure Competition about 6 weeks ago! I was pumped to get back into my suit and heels because I haven’t pushed myself and my body that way in quite a while!!
Long story short, I have been taking my weekly pictures and tracking my show prep, but each week, I was getting more and more frustrated that my body wasn’t changing! I mean, I know how my body works and after doing 2 shows, I know what my body needs! So each week, I wasn’t seeing a difference, then weight started coming on (literally I gained 8 lbs in 2 week!!!) and felt bloated!! Well, I related the bloated and gas to a lot of protein (if ya know what I mean)! HAHA.. but that definitely was not it!
So needless to say, God had other plans than me prepping for a show!!! He felt we should expand our family even more!!
So there you have it!! A new journey begins as I put the figure suit away for a little longer!! Time to prep for baby #6 for our blended family!! We are so thrilled that the Lord has put this blessing in our hands and we have the ability to create another munchkin!
I am excited to share over the next 8 months how to be fit and healthy during pregnancy! I will still be doing EVERYTHING the same as I have been! I will still be working out, drinking my Shakeology, and eating clean! Yes, the nausea is pretty intense, but nothing that I can’t get through! Time to be strong, stay accountable, and enjoy this pregnancy!
